Baby stuff
I had to show off the new baby items I got (just two). You saw the baby chair in the previous Goth post but here’s another view of an awake baby at one of the Greenwood’s.

Actually it’s a baby by the alien Greenwood and it had big eyes when it grew to a toddler.
Here’s the other item – the ‘dangler’. These pics were taken in the apartment of Ciel Charvat (whose mother was a Greenwood).

The baby actually plays with the dangly toys. Brilliant. The Sims 2 baby is no longer a boring package that doesn’t do a great deal.
Apologies
I did say I was going to update this blog but things didn’t go according to plan. I have been playing Pleasantview for a bit but then the graphics card gave up and I haven’t been able to play since. I’m currently looking at options for a new card but am not able to afford it just yet.
Watch this space… (if you’re patient!)
Back soon
No, I haven’t abandoned this blog. I’ve just been busy playing Veronaville. I don’t enjoy playing Sims 3 so will continue to play my Sims 2 Sims.
Plenty of updates over at the Veronaville blog if you want something to read in the meantime!
Getting there
Sorry I still haven’t updated. I have some pics to look through and blog about. I’ve decided to cull a few extra Sims so it doesn’t take so long to play them all.
As well, I’ve been given a copy of Sims 3 and had a go, creating a young couple who are still young adults but have just had a baby boy. I have to say I’m not impressed with the new baby graphics – simplistic – an object in a package. Nor am I impressed with the new toddlers. The toddlers are not cute – they are not chubby at all but look more like a mini child. The range of hairstyles is limited.
So I won’t be giving up my Sims 2 Sims in a hurry.
Hmm
I haven’t played a lot of Pleasantview – at least, nothing of interest. I’m bored with the Goths, already killed off the Dreamers (except for Ophelia who has no offspring) and there’s little going on with the Pleasants. The large Greenwood family (intermarried with the Brokes) take up a lot of time.
What I might do is just blog about families in Pleasantview who actually have something going on. The alien offspring of one of the Greenwoods, for example, has just had a baby and is living in an apartment I dedicated to aliens. I might take pics of that and blog about her. Then there are the Lotharios. Nina Caliente, who was married to Don Lothario, is now dead, but they had a daughter and two sons. I’ve blogged a bit about the sons, but not about the daughter.
So, anyway, this blog might just end up being about the Pleasants and Lotharios and the alien Greenwood.
Updates coming soon
I’ve been playing Veronaville but am about to head back to Pleasantview so watch this space!
Taking a break
Well, there won’t be any updates for a while, partly because I’ll be away over the Christmas/New Year period but also because my computer has chosen this time of year to have a spazz and my video card and/or monitor has packed up.
I haven’t played Pleasantview for a while so it may be some time before I can update.
The Sims of Pleasantview
I thought I’d start a new blog about the families of Goth, Dreamer and Pleasant. I’ve only recently started playing these families and it makes sense to blog about them separately to all my other families. Naturally they will inter-marry with my other Sims but this blog will concentrate on the surnames above.
