Update on Kims

Robert wasn’t particularly happy when Cynthia gave birth to Doobie’s daughter.  The house was too small for three kids.  So, as Robert had had to give up his daughter, he demanded that Cynthia give up hers.  Robert took her to Doobie who had moved in with his parents.  Cynthia sobbed.

Frea’s grandparents were happy to have her join the family.  Doobie has, for the moment, given up on women after finding out from one of his cousins that Cynthia had been seen passionately kissing Belinda Goth’s husband.  Word spread fast in the Greenwood family and the wife of another of his cousins expressed her disapproval when seeing Cynthia.

Update on Liena.  She’s grown to a toddler and is happy with her new family.

On the left is Sigma’s new son, the normal-looking Gamma, Liena and Beta.  The redhead is Alpha also completely human looking.

The Kim family

This is a family that I’ve only recently started playing.  I put them in Bluewater attached to Pleasantview.  I had only played with them for a couple of Sim days.

I was a bit bored with the usual families in Pleasantview (which is often why I head back to Veronaville) so I played this family of Cynthia, Robert and son, Justin, with their two pets, Gabby the dalmatian and Cheech, the cat.

Cynthia was pregnant so I kept playing until she gave birth – to a girl called Jennifer.

Robert, meanwhile was working hard at being promoted in the business career.

Cynthia wanted to be a journalist and kept looking for jobs but couldn’t find any in the journalism field.  She was getting rather bored with being a stay-at-home mum so started socialising.  One of her friends was Doobie Schwartz whose mother is one of the Greenwood clan.  He had only recently returned to Pleasantview from university.

Cynthia fell in love with Doobie and one day, while Robert was at work and Justin at school, she woohooed with him in the matrimonial bed.

In his spare time Robert looked through the large telescope at the back of their house.  He had a good view as the house was on a hill.  Unbeknownst to any of his family he got abducted.

Robert’s bump appeared before Cynthia’s.  The marriage was showing signs of strain as they were both, unbelievably, pregnant to another person.

When Robert gave birth to a green alien girl, Cynthia didn’t want it in the house.  “It’s her or me” was the ultimatum.  Luckily for Robert, who didn’t particularly want the child, there was an alien apartment building in which there lived Sigma Greenwood, half alien, who had two children of her own with another on the way.  She gladly accepted the alien-looking baby.  Her oldest daughter looked completely human while her second daughter looked human except for very large eyes.  Sigma had secretly wanted her very own completely alien-looking baby.

So Robert dropped off the baby girl, called Liena, and headed back home in time to see Cynthia give birth to Doobie’s daughter, called Frea.

Sorry, no pictures, as I hadn’t intended to blog about them, but occasionally I follow one storyline for a while which is more interesting than trying to update every family in short bursts.

Sigma’s apartment building has flaws (such as letting the weather in) so I’ve had to delete it and start again.  I was unable to delete the roof to fix things even after turning the property back to residential.  Phooey.  I should have taken a pic of the old apartment building (Apartment 51) but I didn’t.  The new one will be similar in layout but with different roofing (and not the large domes which didn’t seem to cover the building properly).
