Changes

Cassandra, at long last, began to take an interest in other men.

A romance was beginning to blossom.

That was more than could be said for Ophelia.  Ophelia, like Ramone, had no boyfriend and wasn’t meeting any likely lads.  She concentrated on work and had a promotion.

One evening, shortly after she came back from work, Cassandra was preparing to leave for her work.  But she never left.

Death sent her in a different direction.  She was 68.

Regis was still at university but returned soon after.  Ophelia no longer wanted to live there.  It was a house of loneliness to her.  So she moved out and moved in with Ramone who lived across the road from Skip Broke.

Regis had got to know a student called Katerina Miller at university.  Once back home he invited her over to woo her.  Katerina played hard to get and it took a couple of visits before she’d even kiss him – it was Regis’ first kiss.

But it grew from there.

Eventually they loved each other enough for Regis to pop the question.

Katerina has now moved in.  A wedding looms.

Catching up

Lilith’s sister, Angela, died suddenly, age 69.  When I entered the Pleasant household I then realised that Lilith was only 60, so I had a lot of Sim time to catch up on.

Ramone has now been promoted to ventriloquist but has had no luck at all with men.  She was pretty happy until Banshee returned from university.  They fought.  Ramone was disgusted to discover that not only did Banshee not get a job to contribute to the family expenses, but that she was pregnant, and it wasn’t Paolo’s. 

Obviously Banshee had had way better luck than Ramone in finding a partner at university.  Banshee invited him over one night and Ramone was annoyed to find that he was a good-looking black guy.  That night Banshee and Hayden became engaged.

The wedding was delayed until after the baby was born – a boy they named Mo. 

The wedding was held privately in the back garden, after which Ramone decided to move out. 

Dirk and Lilith are now 70 years old and seem to have a little while left until they cark it.  Dirk achieved his lifetime want of becoming a hall of famer and Lilith is now a symphony conductor (I think – I wasn’t paying much attention at the time).

Mo is already a toddler.
